Mom: Hay nako! Pumunta ka nga dito at makipagusap ka sa anak mo. Ginagawa mo kong operator!!!
Me: MOM! Relaaaax! I will explain why I have a different landline number.
*starts to explain and she repeats each line of my explanation out loud to my dad*
Mom: eh alam mo naman pala bakit kailangan mo pang tanungin?!?!
Me: Bakit ba pumuputok ang butsi mo?
Mom: Eh kasi, ang dami dami kong kailangan gawin tapos ano ano tinatanong ng tatay mo. Ayaw naman lumapit para makipagusap nalang sayo. (changes mood) Buti gumagana na yung magic jack mo. May internet ka na ulit?
Me: Yup, ngayon lang. Swerte.
Mom: Can I call you later? I just have to do something.
Me: Eh, am going to sleep na.
Mom: Sige na. Wait for me. You know I like talking to you long and minsan lang okay yung internet mo.
Me: Okie fine. I will wait.
Mom: Okay. Will just photocopy some stuff. Mabilis lang.
Me: Okay. Great.
Mom: Isang rim lang.
Me: Ha?!?!?! Eh, matutulog na nga ako.
Mom: Mabilis lang to. Pramis!
Me: Okay fine.
Mom: Sige, antayin mo ko, ha.
Me: Okay. LOVE YOU! GOOOOOOOOOOOD NIGHT!!!

Conversation with Daddy dearest on the phone today.
Me: Hello my daddy!!! Happy Father's Day!!!
Dad: oh, THANKyouverymuch!
Me: Dad! Tampo ako sayo!!!
Dad: Why?!?!
Me: Because you didn't reply to my Facebook post on your wall!!!
Dad: No need... I can just call you instead.
Me: But you replied to Ninang Zen's post!!! Did you even see the picture I posted?!!?!
Dad: yeah I saw...
Me: that's it?! You won't even guess who I look like in that pic?!?!!
Dad: Of courseee... you look like me!
My dad is cool... and sabaw sometimes. Hahaha.
He's the best! =)
